EducationALIVE partners with homeschooling families who want clarity, structure, and thoughtful support — especially when math feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Our approach is intentional and relational: carefully chosen curriculum, live instruction, and near-peer teaching — guided by adults who support both students and parent along the way.

At Education ALIVE Math, we value integrity, excellence, and a commitment to lifelong learning. We believe that education should be accessible to all and strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for our students.
Ages 8-10: "Kids build confidence by learning math live with near-peer guide in a supportive Zoom setting."
Learning with a near peer helps younger students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
Instruction focuses on:
Adult planning and oversight guide the instruction to ensure learning is steady, appropriate, and supportive.
Middle school: "Students learn to think clearly through problems — and practice responsibility and follow-through
As students grow in confidence and understanding, they can guide their younger siblings in math learning at home. This reinforces learning while fostering leadership, maturity, and a collaborative learning culture within the family.
High school mentorship: "A formative semester focused on maturity, purpose, and meaningful contribution."
.Using a seniors-with-freshmen style model, older students practice leadership by supporting younger peers. Leadership is understood not as authority, but as service, example, and care for others.
The goal is preparation for life beyond school — helping students become grounded, capable, and ready to make the world a better place through meaningful contribution.

Alise is a veteran educator with over 30 years of experience teaching mathematics in both public and homeschool settings. She founded EducationALIVE to help students move beyond memorization and develop real understanding, confidence, and strong thinking. As a homeschool parent herself, Alise partners with families to bring clarity, structure, and encouragement to the learning journey.

Abigail discovered a new way to learn math— and now she is excited to help younger students feel confident, ask questions, and enjoy learning. She's already guided her siblings and can't wait to give back.
Hi! I'm Abigail — I'm almost thirteen and love helping kids learn. I come from a big, busy family, and I know how learning with encouragement and patience can make math fun.
Some of my favorite things:
At Education ALIVE, we believe math should make sense — and learning shouldn’t feel lonely. Together with families, we build understanding, confidence, and lasting habits that support growth beyond math.

Origin and Early Vision
Alise Day has spent more than three decades teaching mathematics to elementary and secondary students in both public school and homeschool environments. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about helping students understand why learning matters — not just how to complete assignments.
Before founding EducationALIVE Math, Alise’s primary work focused on high school students. She saw many teenagers who were academically capable, yet uncertain about who they were, where they were going, and how to make wise choices. Many lacked guidance, confidence, and formation — even when they appeared successful on the surface.
As a follower of Christ, Alise believes young people are created with purpose and called to grow in wisdom, character, and responsibility. This conviction led her to begin EducationALIVE as a formative program designed to help high school students develop maturity, direction, and resilience as they prepared for adulthood.
Why Math Came Next
Through this work, Alise began to notice something important.
Many of the struggles she saw in high school had roots much earlier. Students who lacked confidence, perseverance, and clear thinking in their teen years often traced those challenges back to early learning experiences — especially in math, where confusion and discouragement had quietly taken hold.
At the same time, she was working closely with homeschooling families who cared deeply about both academic excellence and character development, yet often felt overwhelmed by curriculum choices and daily pressures.
These experiences led to the development of EducationALIVE Math.
Approach and Beliefs
Rather than treating math as a separate subject, Alise designed the program as an extension of her original mission: helping students become thoughtful, capable, and grounded learners who trust their ability to think and grow.
Her approach emphasizes:
Faith and Mission
She believes learning flourishes in environments marked by patience, truth, and grace.
As a homeschool parent herself, Alise understands the realities families face. She brings both professional experience and personal faith into her work, seeking God’s guidance as she serves students and parents.
Beyond academics, Alise remains deeply committed to student formation. Through EducationALIVE’s high school mentorship programs and math support initiatives, she continues to pursue her original calling: helping young people grow into wise, resilient adults who are prepared for both life and leadership.
What Alise Loves to Do
Her greatest joy is watching students discover their God-given potential, seeing families gain peace, confidence, and clarity in their homeschool journey and schools having an environment in which all thrive.
